Not lagging in diligence. - Romans 12:11

Diligence applies to whatever you do in your Christian life. Anything done in the Lord’s service is worth doing with enthusiasm and care.

Jesus knew His time of earthly ministry was limited and that He needed to make the most of every opportunity to serve His heavenly Father. We also, “must work…while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work” (John 9:4). And other Christians will certainly appreciate our diligent good works, as Paul urged, “Let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10).
