The Right Perspective in Suffering | March 1, 2021

From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn

Happy eighth week sa ating lahat. As we are now on our eighth week sa 2021 ng ating daily devotions, and as we start this week we’ll be looking at 2 Corinthians 4 and Romans 8.

17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.

2 Corinthians 4:17 (ESV)

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Romans 8:18 (ESV)

Wow! Ang ganda nung ating progression, ng ating devotions. Nung nag-end tayo ng Week 7, last week, we ended the week with the beautiful thing that we anticipate that is to be with God in heaven. How with regards to eternity, with regards to being with God, we can dream big unlike yung ating mga panukala noon na, ‘nakaputi lang tayo, lumulutang-lutang at umaawit ng Hallelujah!’ No. We would be enjoying God. We would be learning from God. We would be loving God, we would just be enjoying Him forever.

And now as we open this week we are reminded that, as we are here yung ating sufferings, especially now in the pandemic whatever struggles that we are in, or going through, emotional man iyan or relational, more specially etong physical infirmities na meron tayo, these things would fail into comparison as we anticipate, as we are ushered in, if you will, into glory.

As we go back to our devotional, “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective.” We will be looking at keeping the right perspective in suffering. Are you suffering right now?

Our devotion comes from the book:
