Beloved brethren, as I mentioned last week, my family and I will be going on vacation this June. I have been longing to spend more time with my family since last year, but it keeps getting pushed back because of many situations and activities. I am more than willing to spend and be spent for the gospel. I love being in the Word and to be teaching it, but I also understand the importance of rest and the need to spend more time with the family.
And God has provided for it more than we could ever imagine!
The Quimboys are going to the United Kingdom. My sister-in-law has invited the whole family to spend our vacation with them and it is all paid for. We thank God for my sister-in-law’s generosity and I am thankful to our elders for allowing me to have a monthlong break.
It will be a great time for me to rest, my wife to spend time with her sister and my daughter to be educated with another culture. I will be missing all of you, and I am looking forward to being with you again in July refreshed and well-rested.
I am praising the Lord for our abled elders who would be preaching and teaching in my absence. I am confident that they will feed you God’s Word well.
Please be praying for our trip and stay there. See you in July. I love you all.
In and for Jesus,
Erwin

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”
