The Master Artist (January 29, 2021)

From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn

Kumusta kayo? As we go back to our devotion we revisit the Garden of Eden as we look at this devotional entitled, “The Master Artist”, taken from our devotional, “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal perspective.”

31 And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Genesis 1:31 (ESV)

Sabi po rito ni Randy Alcorn, “Eden has been trampled and vacated. Nevertheless in nature, in art, and music we see and hear vestiges of God’s beauty and creativity.”

Isa sa mga nakakamangha na nilikha ng Panginoong Diyos ay yung langgam. There is precision, meron silang organization, right? And I can’t get enough of how? kasi ang wife ko po mahilig sa halaman, it’s just so wonderful that iba-iba ang hitsura, from afar ang mga dahon mukhang pare-pareho, but when you look closely to it, there is a great design. Kaya tama yung sinabi rito, God is the Master Artist.

To have an eternal perspective while here on earth, means to marvel at the world that He created as we are still here, hindi ba? and understand that the universe even in its fallen state, is so beautiful. Again, alam natin na pumasok ang kasalanan sa sansinukob, in the universe, but we know and understand, look at the leaves, look at the flowers, look at the clouds, look at nature, it’s so beautiful! Yet, the Bible says that creation is groaning. Nakakamangha na even in its fallen state, we see the artistry of God but then again we need to understand that the world that we know right now would fade, and God would once again make a new heaven and new earth. Para sa akin hindi yung creation ang nakakamangha, it’s the artistry of the Creator Himself.

This Master Creator is also our Savior, the One who sent His Son to die on the cross for you, if you believe in Him.

16 Yours is the day, Yours also the night;
    You have established the heavenly lights and the sun.
17 You have fixed all the boundaries of the earth;
    You have made summer and winter.

Psalm 74:16-17 (ESV)
