From the book “Truth For Today: A Daily Touch of God’s Grace” by John F. MacArthur
This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. - Isaiah 28:29
The most direct way we see the goodness of God’s wisdom is when He shares it with us. The Apostle Paul prayed that He would grant to believers in Ephesus and everywhere “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1:17).
He expressed similar sentiments in his letter to the Colossians: “We. . . do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians 1:9; “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).
How are you doing in utilizing the goodness of God’s wisdom?
