From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn
Blessed Tuesday everyone, welcome to our daily devotions and today as we go back to our goal to have a daily dose of eternal perspective looking at Scripture, gleaning principles kung paano tayo papaalalahanan ng ating tunay na bahay at tahanan. Kung paano tayo mapapaalalahanan o iiencourage na tayo po ay dumadaan lamang sa buhay na ito, and that our true home is in Heaven, is with God in eternity. Ngayon po, we’ll be looking at Hebrews 13:20-21 and Romans 12:2.
20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21 (ESV)
2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2 (ESV)
Kahapon po, February 1 was my first day, my fifth year sa GCF-East. Nag start ako sa GCF, February 1, 2016. Five years na po ako sa iglesiya and looking back as to how God orchestrated everything para kami po ang pamilya ko ay mapunta sa GCF-East, it’s just so wonderful kasi noon, we were praying for a clear direction and God indeed led us to certain people, to certain situations for us to be here. And now, after five years, nandito po kami, and praise the Lord for that.
Sabi niya rito, we need to surrender each day to God, and to be asking Him, seeking Him, to bring into our lives divine appointments. Kasi kung alam natin at nanampalataya tayo na ang Panginoong Diyos ay sovereign, He is sovereign, and indeed He is. And in His providential care, He sends our way things, in people, in situations para mafulfill Niya ang kalooban Niya sa ating mga buhay. Because He is indeed the Master of exact timing, Master of divine appointments. Scripture is where we find direction.
