Seeing God as the Source (January 13, 2021)

From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn

Kumusta po kayo? Welcome to our daily devotions, and we are looking at this devotional material written by Randy Alcorn, “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective.” Today’s devotion is very simple, but as I was looking at it, simple lang siya pero napaka profound niya.

Ang title po is, “Seeing God as the Source.” The opening statement goes like this, “We should see God as the source of all good and our sustainer through everything bad.” Ang ganda nun di ba? God is the source of all good, and everything that is bad, if we are going through some bad things, He is the sustainer through everything that is bad. And therefore God is the source.

Kung ano man ang pinagdadaanan mo, whether it be good or bad, He is the source. He is the Sustainer. God alone is the Fountain of life.

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalm 28:7 (NASB)

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

James 1:17 (NASB)
