Happy Saturday everyone. Salamat sa Panginoong Diyos nakasama ko po kayo all throughout the week–this week. And as we close today’s week, ang atin pong fifth week ng ating daily devotions, we would be looking at two passages both from Psalms.

¹⁷⁴ I long for your salvation, O Lord,
    and Your law is my delight.

Psalm 119:174 (ESV)

⁴ Delight yourself in the Lord,
    and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 (ESV)

And so we heard delight and desires of our hearts and so ang ating topic as we end the week is, Delighting in Him.

Tayo ba ay maraming tangent sa buhay? Have we decided to get rid of all the distractions and have undivided attention as we sit at the feet of Jesus Christ listening to Him? Have we been reading the Bible? Have we allotted a time not just merely to read our Bible but have we been feasting on God’s Word? Have we been so immersed in God’s Word to enjoy His Word?

Time with God is the fountain from which holiness flows, in joy and delight. Kung tayo ay naghahanap ng panahon sa Panginoong Diyos–sa Kanyang Salita– that’s where we can find ourselves being more holy everyday. Kasi if we focus our attention on God then there would not be any time for any distractions, hindi po ba? Hindi lang holiness but there is a time of joy and delight.
