Blessed Saturday everyone, welcome po sa ating pagtatapos ng Week 8. And today brings us to two passages Isaiah 25 at Matthew 8 po.

⁶ On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
    a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
    of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.

Isaiah 25:6 (ESV)

¹¹ I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 8:11 (ESV)

Wow! And so, ngayong araw pong ito, as we end Week 8, we will be discussing about feasting and fellowship. Of course it’s in the context of doing that in Heaven. Sabi po rito ni Randy Alcorn: “In Heaven, will we spend time with people whose lives are recorded in Scripture and church history? Magandang tanong yun nuh? Ako, isa sa mga gusto kong mameet in the future, in heaven is Paul. Gusto ko rin mameet si Onesimus, right? No doubt of course, we will. Jesus told us we’ll sit at the dinner table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The struggles that we go through here, I mean the heart aches, pinakamasakit yung mga struggles within the church, within those whom you love. But it would be wonderful to be in heaven in this fellowship with those pillars of the faith, those whom we were influenced by their work, their faith, their books. I thank the Lord for the countless believers— from times and places way beyond my reach— whom God has sovereignly used to draw me to Him. I long for the day when I will sit by them and feast at feasts on the New Earth, we will look at King Jesus and celebrate His greatness and works.
