From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn
Blessed day everyone, welcome to our fourth week of our daily devotions. And we are in February already, at nakakamangha mga kapatid, isang buwan na lang, by March, we would celebrate our one year of our daily devotions. Nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoong Diyos, in spite and despite the pandemic it has birth to the devotions, and looking back napakabuti ng Panginoong Diyos sa ating lahat. As we together, day by day except Sundays of course, are blessed with reflections in God’s Word, and I truly praise the Lord for that.
Ngayon po, as we mark the second month of the year, let me just remind you that the goal of our devotions is to encourage everyone to have an eternal perspective, to be heavenly minded, to be investing for God’s kingdom as we live in the now looking forward to the then.
Kaya mapapansin po ninyo, we are looking at passages that would remind us of who we truly are, we are just passersby, hindi tayo taga-rito. We’re just sojourners, we are citizens of Heaven, and while we’re here we are reminded of truths like, we need to long for God, we need to be shaped by His Word, diba? and so I truly praise the Lord sa mga devotions nating ganito.
13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV)
10 With my whole heart I seek You;
Psalm 119:10 (ESV)
let me not wander from Your commandments!
