From the book “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective” by Randy Alcorn
Blessed day everyone and welcome to our last day of our devotion week. I am praising the Lord na nakatapos tayo ng ating bagong linggo as we are going through our new devotional material, “Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective”, written by Randy Alcorn. Again, sinabi ko po sa inyo, si Randy Alcorn po yung sumulat ng “Heaven” na book. He also have a devotional, “Heaven”. He also has devotional for kids or book for kids, “Heaven”.
And today, as we end the week, by God’s grace, trying to have an eternal perspective, living here in the dot but living for the line, having the anticipation, the longing for eternity and investing in the Gospel
and for the Gospel. We find ourselves looking at Acts 4:12…
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Acts 4:12 (ESV)
And I say, Amen! to that.
Ang sabi po ni Randy Alcorn, “If I want to arrive in Heaven, I cannot go through Buddha, Muhammad, or Moses. I can only go through Jesus.”
We need to be trusting in the Lord. Putting our confidence, putting our trust in Him not on anyone else nor in our own good works.
For He says,
“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2 (ESV)
