Are you a follower of Jesus?

One of the most sobering passages of Scripture tells of a day when many who consider themselves to be followers of Jesus will be stunned to find out that He doesn’t even recognize them. In the Gospel of Luke chapter 13, Jesus tells of a day where everyone who has ever lived will stand before God. On that day many who call themselves Christians and identify themselves as followers will stand confidently in front of Jesus only to hear him say, “I never knew you. Away from me.”

Clearly, it is important that we conduct a sober assessment of our spiritual standing before the Lord. Are we really His followers, or are we merely His fans? In the first place, what does it mean to be a follower and not a fan?

These questions and others related to them will be addressed this coming MAY in a 3-day youth camp entitled “Not a Fan.” In this camp, we aim to provide young people the opportunity to assess biblically their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to come to a sincere and Spirit-led decision of becoming completely committed followers of the Lord.

If you are a young adult or youth, this camp is for you, and so we would like to invite you.
