Happy New Year to all of you beloved! I am grateful to God for how He was so faithful in 2018, and I am excited about how we all will undergo sanctification by His grace, to be conformed to His image, to be a church that declares God’s excellencies. Exciting year ahead of us!

But more than this year being an opportunity to know Christ more and make Him known more, Dear ones, I pray that we all understand that we are closer now to salvation: our glorification, Jesus’ glorious return, than when we first believed. I hope that this makes your heart leap out of your chest in excitement. So let us all wake up, and live alert lives. I hope that that would change our priorities this year as individuals and as a family of believers. May we be a “deliberate church,” intentional in our prayer life, resolved in our regard for Scripture, involved in our own Christian walk and accountable to the rest of the body, for GCF East to be a Church that God would bless for His glory sake.

Let us all shine for Jesus as the noonday sun, this year and beyond.
